Cotton Table Runner

Handprinted table runners are double sided, with solid green back. Each table runner is hand batik painted with wax, and then hand dyed Mr. Edmunson, a local craftsman in Ghana, and then sewn by a local seamstress, Meek. Every piece is sewn with a cloth Rustic Loom label, and attached with a beautiful hang tag with a description the type of textile and where from where the piece comes originates.

I designed this pattern in my Brooklyn studio and worked on production on a trip to Ghana. The dot pattern is inspired by cooking, and made of layers of batik wax printing and dyeing.
